Rev. Dr. Chad McSwain joined the staff as Lead Pastor in July 2024. Chad is an ordained United Methodist Minister who has served at Creekwood UMC, St. Andrew UMC, Christ Church Plano, and Whitesboro UMC. Chad is a passionate creative who loves inspiring people to find their unique ministry and mission.

Chad is a lifelong learner graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma (Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy), Fuller Theological Seminary (Mather of Theology), Perkins School of Theology at SMU (Master of Divinity), George Fox University-Portland Seminary (Doctor of Leadership) and is studying for a Doctor of Ministry in Semiotics.

Chad met his wife, Brandi, at Walmart in Purcell, Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!). They have three children: Abbie, Xander and Lia. Brandi is a 8th Grade English Teacher and Cheer Coach at Jones Middle School in Prosper.
