Andrea grew up in Plano, Texas where she was born and raised a Methodist and a Dallas Cowboys fan. She married her husband, Josh, when he was stationed at Fort Hood. They found themselves in Arizona, but knew they wanted to get back to Texas when his army career was over.

When they moved to Melissa in 2013, Andrea knew she wanted to get plugged into the Methodist church. She volunteered with the Children’s Ministry and LOVED it. When the opportunity to serve again at Melissa UMC became available, she looked forward to returning to a nurturing role and witnessing faith through younger congregation members.

Andrea and Josh have been married for almost 20 years, and they have two children, Sadie and Chesney. They love to go to all of their children’s events, take road trips, and watch movies.

When you see her around on Sunday mornings, ask Andrea about some of her favorite things - she studied abroad in Scotland and loves all things medieval and European, she has a college t-shirt collection from all sorts of schools (though she is a relatively new fan of the Oklahoma Sooners softball team), and she LOVES coffee.
