In July 2022, Rev. Dallen Morgan came to Melissa UMC through a partnership with The Gathering in Anna, TX where we benefit from her spiritual gifts of discernment, administration, and teaching.

“I love reaching new people with Christ love and teaching that God loves people as they are,” says Dallen. “I love our partnership and the relationships I am building.”

Growing up in The Colony, Dallen graduated from UTD in 2007 with a B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies and later completed a Masters of Divinity at SMU in 2017.

In addition to spending time in Anna, Dallen enjoys traveling to small towns in Texas, eating Mexican food and listening to country music as well the hits from the late 90s and early 2000 hip hop.

Even though he stood her up on their first blind date, Dallen married Matt in 2007 and subsequently committed to rooting for the University of Florida. In addition to cheering on the GATORS, Dallen is a huge fan of being “mom” to Kaylee, Easton and PollyNell. In this role she enjoys being a part of their many sports and arts activities.
