Dana has served as our facilities manager since 2021 where she enjoys “being a part of a faith community that exists outside the walls of a building."

Retired from a municipal career in 2013, Dana remains passionate about local government and can often be found serving others through the Melissa Rotary Club or Melissa City Council.

When not taking care of Melissa UMC, you may see her cycling with her husband Jerry. The couple met while chasing hot air balloons and continue to share a passion for road cycling, cycling trips and spandex.

Married in 1993, Dana and Jerry moved to Melissa in 2001 in search of a smaller community to raise their daughter Lindsey. They ultimately found Melissa UMC by way of Dana’s parents, founding members Bill & Yvonne England.
